Cryptorchidism is the absence of one or both testes from the scrotum. This usually represents failure of the testis to move, or “descend,” during fetal development from an abdominal position, through the inguinal canal, into the ipsilateral scrotum.
• Cryptorchidism is the absence of one or both testes from the scrotum. This usually represents failure of the testis to move, or “descend,” during fetal development from an abdominal position, through the inguinal canal, into the ipsilateral scrotum.
• The primary management of cryptorchidism is surgery, called orchiopexy. It is usually performed in infancy, if inguinal testes have not descended after 4–6 months, often by a pediatric urologist or pediatric surgeon, but in many communities still by a general urologist or surgeon.
• When the undescended testis is in the inguinal canal, hormonal therapy is sometimes attempted and occasionally successful. The most commonly used hormone therapy is human chorionic gonadotropin.
Hi,
My son is 2.8 yrs old. He was born with left undescended testicle. Doctor told us that it will naturally come down. But it didnt so we consulted a paedetric surgeon who told us to operate. Me and my wife are against surgery as we are afraid. We want it be cured naturally by applying some medicines. We feel homeopathy has treatment. Unfortunately where I stay dont have homeopathy doctors who have done similar treatment. So I am worried. Could you please help

I have the same question as Ray. Our son is 3 years old and we’d like to avoid surger for his undescended testicle. Is there any evidence for an appropriate homeopathic treatment? I do hear a lot that it really depends on individual characteristics, but unfortunately there’s no homeopath nearby.

My son is 10 month old and his both testes are undescended. We can feel his left testes while giving hime warm water bath. Ultrasound says that his both testes are partially reduced to the scrotal. Both testes are located in the inguinal canals.
Can you please suggest homeopathy treatment.

Hi Sir, My son was born with 1 testis undescended, After 3-4 months from birth the undescended testis came till the suprascrotal area. At 1 year-old, I consulted a urologist and he said to wait till 2 years to see whether it will descend on its own from the suprascrotal area. Now he is 2 years old, still it is in the suprascrotal area. I would like to know whether any nonsurgical treatment is there for this defect.
