Irreversible damage to spinal cord due to a 8.5 meter / 27 feet jump, surgery was performed & rehabilitation took place in the Genève center for Paraplegics, patient was diagnosed with permanent paralysis in lower extremities, doctors concluded that a wheelchair would be required for the rest of his life.

After the first 4 months of treatment he was able to walk independently with and without crutches, wheelchair was no longer required. Then the treatment stopped for 9 months because he returned to Switzerland to finish school, during this time no further improvement was observed. He returned to Israel for 8 months of additional treatment in which there was an improvement in coordination and movement, length of walking distance, muscle tone,sensation and temperature.
